Description

Our highway and dump truck spindles are a true testament to the grit and rugged durability of our products. Built for the long haul, our spindles have kept 80-ton dump trucks rolling strong across North America, proving their reliability mile after mile.

Forged from a solid block of unalloyed 1040 steel, the 4707/4709/4515 spindle undergoes multiple precision machining stages to ensure a perfect fit with axle bearings and wheel hubs, reducing vibration and improving ride quality.

Induction Heat Treatment – The bearing areas receive focused heating for maximum durability, while the entire spindle undergoes a hardening process to withstand high stress loads and demanding terrains.

Optimized Load Support – The sleeve is designed to fit perfectly within the axle housing, providing a reinforced mounting point that prevents axial movement.

Sealed Against Contaminants – The gasket ensures long-term protection, preventing dirt, moisture, and road debris from infiltrating critical components.

ABS Sensor Alignment – The ABS mount allows for precise sensor positioning, ensuring accurate braking performance that meets modern safety standards.

Secure Installation – The included bolts provide firm attachment to the axle housing, ensuring stability under operating stress.

Whether you’re performing routine maintenance or emergency repairs, the 4707/4709/4515 Drive Axle Spindle kit delivers a perfect balance of durability, precision, and ease of installation.

Problems Caused by a Damaged Axle Spindle

Damaged spindles can create serious operational challenges, affecting your vehicle’s performance, safety, and cost-efficiency. Identifying and addressing these issues early is crucial for maintaining a safe and efficient fleet.

Steering Problems: A compromised axle spindle can throw off wheel alignment, making it difficult to maintain straight-line stability. Drivers may experience increased steering effort, unexpected drifting, and reduced handling precision—all of which put additional strain on driver focus and safety.

Unusual Noises: One of the first warning signs of a failing axle spindle is unusual noise from the wheel area. Clicking, grinding, or humming sounds often indicate excessive friction and improper wheel support. Ignoring these early warnings can lead to serious internal component wear and costly repairs.

Uneven Tire Wear: A faulty axle spindle causes irregular tire wear, reducing tire lifespan and compromising road grip. This leads to premature tread wear, higher fuel consumption and reduced vehicle control.

Brake System Malfunction: A damaged spindle can misalign the wheel hub, leading to uneven brake pad wear and compromised braking performance. This increases stopping distances, heightens safety risks, and puts additional stress on the entire braking system.
