The installation process begins by inserting the sleeve into the axle tube using the tool, which keeps the sleeve perfectly centered. The tool features 2 precision-cut slots that allow technicians to tack weld the sleeve to the axle tube without removing the tool. This ensures the sleeve remains aligned during initial welding. It is important to tack weld only the sleeve through the slots and avoid welding the tool itself.
